Charles William “Bill” Cook passed away at his home Sunday June 3, 2018. He was born October 20, 1935, the oldest son, of the late Hobert H. and Virgie Gillespie Cook. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Patsy Cook and Mary Gray Sanders.
Bill was a member of Roberts Chapel Church, a retired farmer and rural mail carrier for Route 3 Saltville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Christine Taylor Cook; two brothers, Hobert H. Cook and wife Nyoka, and Jimmy Cook and wife Toby; sister, Peggy Jean Taylor and husband Charlie “C.B.”; two sisters-in- law, Nancy Elswick and Phyllis Burkett; five nieces and four nephews (two special nieces Susan and Amy Taylor).

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday At Ridgedale Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home prior to the services.
