Dorothy “Dot” Lee Taylor
Saltville, VA

Dorothy “Dot” Lee Taylor, age 93, passed away Tuesday November 14, 2017. She was a long time member of Roberts Chapel United Methodist Church and was recently honored as the oldest member. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Addie Mumpower; husband, Howard Taylor; daughter, Joyce Mitchell; brothers, Gene and Roy Mumpower; sisters, Lillie Belle Puckett, Mable Lemons and Sue Addington.

She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Crabtree and husband David of Pulaski, VA and Brenda Smith and husband Earl of Broadford, VA; son-in-law Merle Mitchell of Bluefield, VA; grandchildren, Michael Crabtree (Amy) of Pulaski, VA, Kevin Crabtree (Kylie) of Lincolnton, NC and Kimberly Smith of Broadford, VA; great grandchildren, Austin, Jacob and Sarah Crabtree of Pulaski, VA and Karlie and Carter Crabtree of Lincolnton, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday November 16, 2017 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mount Rose Cemetery.
