Obituary for Lincoln Hunt

Charles Lincoln Hunt, age 75, born August 26, 1942, a life long resident of the Buckeye Hollow Community, Saltville, VA., passed away peacefully Wednesday May 2, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. with his family by his side.
Lincoln enjoyed talking; telling life stories, taking long rides, feeding the fish & wildlife. Lincoln was a U.S. Army veteran of the 7th Cavalry Division and was a member of the Buckeye Hollow Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Frances Hunt and a special pet Minnie Pearl
His sons Andy Hunt and wife Regina and Barry Hunt both of Saltville
Grandchildren, Alicia Hunt, Sara Cox and husband Ryan, Zeb Hunt and wife Emily, Zek Hunt and wife Kimberly, and Caley Hunt

10 Great Grandchildren Addison, Laura, Grant & Anna Cox
Ellie, Quinnlyn & Eli Hunt
Krista, Gram and Khloe Hunt
Sisters Loreen Wilson, Connie Martin and husband Dave
Brother Ted Hunt and wife Gale

Lincoln is preceded in death by his parents Bram & Mamie Hunt, brothers Melvin and Glenn Hunt, sisters Josie Nunley and Billie Roark.

Funeral services for Lincoln Hunt will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Buckeye Hollow Free Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Wade Kestner, Pastor Roger O’Quinn and Brother Rodney Olinger officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday in the Mount Rose Cemetery by Marion V.F.W. Post #4667 and representatives of the U.S. Army National Guard
Pallbearers will be: Zeb Hunt, Zek Hunt, Ryan Cox, Steven Olinger, Mark Olinger and Jeremy Hunt.
Honorary pallbearers are the Great Grandsons and flower bearers are Calie Hunt and the Great Granddaughters.
