Virginia “Sissy” Harris Neese
Saltville, VA

Virginia “Sissy” Harris Neese, age 90, passed away Monday January 15, 2018 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, VA, due to complications of a stroke.
Sissy was an avid quilter, whose stitches could be measured in miles, she was a life long member of the Saltville Rescue Squad and a member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children, Faye Thorpe of Drakes Branch, VA, Robert Harris of Elizabethton, TN, Jim Harris of Saltville, VA and Ruth Ann Bise of Glade Spring, VA; sister, Frankie Bordwine of Saltville, VA; brother, Jack Tolbert of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of foster children.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 18, 2018 at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Frye officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday January 17, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home.
