Marion, VA. Alvin Roscoe Puckett, age 61, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia Puckett; brothers, Bobby, John, Ed, and Ronnie Puckett; sister, Lisa Puckett; brother-in-law, Elmer Blevins; and sister-in-law, Christine Puckett. Alvin is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shelve Sova Puckett; daughter, Patricia Puckett; son, William DeBord Jr.; six grandchildren, Adam Puckett, Ashlyn Puckett, Jesse DeBord, Jon Bradley Hogston, Drue DeBord and Dixie DeBord; brother, Rocky Puckett; two sisters, Lynn Blevins, Joyce Puckett (Bobby Tuell); sister-in-law Karen Puckett; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dana and Barbara Dove. Funeral services will be conducted at the 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Glade Baptist Cemetery.
