Arthur Larry Rust, age 72, passed away at his home in Pembroke, Va. following a lengthy illness. Larry was born in Saltville, Va. on June 20, 1952. He was a 1971 graduate of R. B. Worthy High School. Larry enjoyed scuba diving, flying model airplanes and helicopters and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Newton Rust.

Larry is survived by his mother, Jeanette Surber Rust; twin brother, Thomas Garry Rust; daughter, Katrennia Rust of Pembroke, Va.; one son, Travis Eugene Rust of Richlands, Va.; grandchildren, Kharma Rust, Abigail Rust, Kane Rust, Adreanna Ratcliffe, Kasse Dody, and Cayden Arnold; niece, Lora Christine Rust; and nephew, Christopher Garry Rust; and several other family members.

Funeral services for Larry Rust will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va.
