Bartlee "Bart" Darrin Jones, age 53, passed away at his home Saturday, January 7, 2023. Bart loved sports and played all sports for his Rich Valley "Steers", where he made All-State in football. He loved his Special Education students and the students he coached. His greatest love was his family, especially his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence R. and Mary K. Jones; maternal grandparents, Garnet L. and Zella S. Grant; and step-father, David G. Simpson.

Bart is survived by his wife of 26 years, Krista L. Jones; son, Dylan L. Jones; daughter, Delaney R. Jones; father, Jerry V. Jones and wife Betty E. Jones; mother, Drema G. Simpson; special cousins, Becky Duncan, Karen Blalock, Karen Anderson, and Lisa Davidson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
