Saltville, Va.

Beatrice Pennington, 90, of Saltville, VA. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April16, 2025. She died peacefully in Abingdon, VA.

Mrs. Pennington, "Bea" was a homemaker and a loving Sister with a kind and gentle spirit. She had a very generous heart and loved reading her Bible and watching her favorite pastor, Charles Stanley, on TV.

Survivors include her Sister Eva Woodward Holmes of Greeneville, TN., two brothers Curtis Woodward of Saltville, VA., and Billy Woodward of Indiana, and one brother-in-law, Kyle Puckett, also of Saltville, VA. Survivors of Mrs. Pennington also includes many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents George Washington Woodward and Ida Woodward, husbands, Lawrence Sanders and Vernie Pennington, a brother, Robert Woodward, and a sister, Nancy Evelyn Woodward Puckett.

Mrs. Pennington will be interred in Mount Rose Cemetery, in Glade Spring, Va.
