Billy Joe Booth, age 88, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Valley Heath Care in Chilhowie, VA. Billy was born April 4, 1935 to Eugene and Mary Price Booth. He served in the United States Air Force. Billy loved the game of golf. He worked for Westinghouse for 23 years. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Eastridge Booth, and his brother, Bobby Gene Booth and wife Linnie.

He is survived by daughters, Lisa Doyle and husband James of Hickory, N.C., Melissa "Missy" Clark and husband Edward of Spring Hill, FL, and Rhonda Henderson of Idaho; brother, Eddie Booth and wife Patty of Glade Spring, VA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA with Pastor Daniel Garrett officiating.
