Marion, Va. Billy Gene "Wooly" Cannon, age 59, passed away at his home in Marion, Va. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Tine Cannon; brother's, Jimmy, Tommy, and Bo Cannon. He was a life time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose with countless friends. Billy is survived by his brothers, David Cannon and Wendy Cannon of Glade Spring, Jerry Cannon and special friend, Marsha of Marion; sisters, Carol Blake and husband Richard of Chesapeake, Va., Joey Jackson and husband Eddie of Meadowview, and Jackie Jackson and husband Charlie of Marion; numerous nieces and nephews; and three special little friends, Brody, Grady, and Abby Jackson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Glade Spring Baptist Cemetery, Forest Hills Drive, Glade Spring, Va. with Pastor Mike Owens officiating.
