Blaine Yarber Jr., age 85, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He was born in Charles Town, West Virginia on December 1, 1936. He was self-employed and a veteran of the United States Army.

Blaine was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jeannine Yarber; sons, Christopher Yarber and Phillip Yarber; and son-in-law, Max Churchill; parents, Blaine and Ola Powers Yarber; brothers, Bruce Yarber, Gene Yarborough; and sister, Dorothy Yarber Goodman.

Blaine is survived by his family, Blaine Yarber III (Clara) Abingdon, Jerry Yarber (Barbara) Glade Spring, Jeff Yarber (Stephanie) Bluff City, Tracy Yarber (Valerie) Glade Spring, Sylvia Yarber Roe (Rusty) Abingdon, and Sandra Yarber Churchill Elizabethton, daughter-in-law, Susie Yarber, Marion; grandchildren, Cody Yarber, Kelly Yarber, Brent Yarber, Jeri Yarber Ward, Morgan Yarber Roland, Brandon Yarber, Christina Lewis, Lianne Roe, Lucy Roe, Will Churchill, Luke Churchill, Klayton Yarber; and three great grandchildren. Blaine is survived by his sister, Ruby Yarber Parks (Carter) Marion; two brothers, Cecil Yarber (Garnetta) Glade Spring, and Franklin Yarborough of Newport News.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Holston Conference-Emory & Henry Cemetery in Emory, VA with Reverend Tracy Yarber officiating. Military rites will be conducted by United States Army Honor Guard and VFW Post 4667. Pallbearers will be Blaine Yarber III, Jerry Yarber, Tracy Yarber, Rusty Roe, Klayton Yarber, and Will Churchill. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Yarber, Brent Yarber, and Kenneth Yarber.
