Saltville, VA Bobby Dean Allison, age 80, passed away Monday August 30, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was a graduate of Emory & Henry College and retired teacher from the Smyth County School System. Bobby was an avid U.T. fan and he loved his dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Cuddy Allison; parents, Lawrence "Blackie" and Ola Allison; and brothers, Carlis and Ron Allison. Bobby is survived by his brother, Roger Allison; sisters-in-law, Sheila Allison and Sue Allison; and four nieces, four great nieces and three great nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA, to honor both Bobby and Elizabeth Allison In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Smyth County Animal Shelter.
