Bobby Lee Collins, age 89, passed away on November 15, 2022, peacefully at his home. He was a loving family man who always helped those in need. He was a very hardworking man in his job and vegetable garden that he loved. His garden was always plentiful and shared with many family members and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Bessie Collins, and his sisters, Ossie Henderson and Jean Collins.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine Wyatt Collins; his children, Brenda Harris and husband Phil, Eddie Collins and wife Hope, Jane Collins (Scotty), and Janet Gillespie; six grandchildren, Becki, Tim, Dealen, Amy, Megan, and Zach; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Hartman, Ruby Davidson, and Mary Gilda Eastridge; four brothers, Jimmy, Doug, Clarence, and Willard Collins; brother-in-law, Oscar Wyatt, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Marie Blevins and Shirley Guinn; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA with Minister Philip Harris officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Henderson Funeral Home from 11:30 until 12:30 prior to the procession to the cemetery. Dealen Collins, Tim Collins, Zac Collins, Austin Minton, Will Minton, and Mitchell Hayter will be serving as pallbearers.
