Bonnie O'Quinn Puckett, age 94 passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Bonnie was born to the late Robb and Jane O'Quinn of Saltville, Va. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Carl Puckett; six siblings, Bill O'Quinn, Fed O'Quinn, Lee O'Quinn, Dallas O'Quinn, Kansas O'Quinn, and Edna Mutter.

Bonnie and Carl took up housekeeping in Saltville, Va. (Poor Valley) in the fifties and moved North to Haymarket, Virginia in the sixties and then moved back home in the eighties where they remodeled and opened the Lindell Store and then moved back to Remington, Va. and finally retired to Greeneville, TN until Carl passed away in 2000. They liked to travel, mostly to visit family and friends all around the country. Bonnie worked hard in her home and gardens and raising three children. She loved flowers, sewing quilts, cooking and canning. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and was an avid reader. In her 80's, Bonnie moved from the farm in Knoxville, TN to live with her daughter Carol's family where she made many new friends.

Bonnie is survived by three children; Carol and husband James Goodnight, Janice and husband Mark Caudill, and Ken and wife Connie Puckett; five grandchildren, Trevor Caudill, Trenton Caudill, Bronson Caudill, Tessa Goodnight, and Owen Puckett; three great grandchildren, Aria Caudill, Julian Caudill, and Vivian Caudill; three sisters, Ethel Cross, Lorene Mutter, and Georgia Snead; extended family of "Nanny Bonnie"; Rebecca Maine, daughter, Kimberley Beahm, and son Daniel Maine and their six respective children.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Tracy Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home.
