Bradley Curtis Carter, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born on March 23, 1951, in Saltville, Va. to the late Curtis and Ocie Lamie Carter. Bradley enjoyed working and helping everyone in his community. He was retired from GTE/Verizon with 35 years of service. After retirement, he worked at Kidd Tire/Harvey's delivering parts. Bradley was an active member of the Tannersville Fire Department and Rescue, and the Tannersville Community Club.

Bradley is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra (Sandy) Franklin Carter; daughters, Mary Beth Greer (Tim), and Lee Ann Hubbard (James); grandchildren, Will Greer, Braden Greer, Marilla Hubbard, and Koraline Hubbard; brother, William (Rasty) Carter of Wisconsin; sisters, Joan Carter of Richmond, Susan Robbins (Lenny) of Saltville, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Bradley Carter will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Ridgedale United Methodist Church with Pastor Donnie Bailey and Pastor Rodney Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tannersville Fire Department, Tannersville Rescue, or Wesley's Chapel.
