Saltville, Va . Carl Haynes passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Haynes; his precious daughter, Robin Haynes Kestner; sister, Barbara Borders; brothers, James, Kenneth, Malcolm, and Ralph, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patsy Borders Haynes; his daughter, Carla Haynes; his son, Brent Haynes; his loving granddaughter whom he loved dearly, Amber Smith and husband Nick Smith of Prattville, Alabama; son-in-law, Laney Kestner; sister, Linda Henderson, Saltville; and brother, Larry and wife Martha; and his dog, Saban, who loved him.
