Casey Adam McElraft, age 44, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home. If you knew Casey, you knew he was a quiet reserved man with a big heart. He was employed at Reline America in Saltville, Va. Casey was an excellent employee at Reline and was extremely proud of his work. He was a friend to many, but also a devoted boyfriend, father, son, and brother to the lucky few he called family. The best way to describe Casey is he was quiet and down to earth. He was content with very little and would never the less give you the little he had. He loved his children and all of his family dearly. If you were apart of his extended family you were given the same love and compassion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Reese and Lessie "Les" McElraft; and brother, David Reese McElraft.

He is survived by his girlfriend of 20 years, Sonya Ruth Ray; his children, Madeline Jones of Maine; Autumn McElraft, Austin Ray, Aaron Ray, and Andrew Ray, all of Saltville, Va.; three aunts, Sue Brickey, Sandy Duncan and husband Don, and Nancy Roark; nephews, David McElraft, Erik McElraft, Mathew McElraft, and Allan Hayden; nieces, Chasity Jackson, Ashley Ray, Linda Hernandez, and Jessie Hernandez; and several other great-nieces, nephews, and cousins; also his extended family, Ester Ruth Hayden, Michelle Thompson, Virgie Hayden, and Marvin Hayden, Jr. ; special friends, Nick Beck and family.

Please keep all of the family and friends in your prayers as they lay another beautiful soul to rest that has gone too soon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Loupe officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. A private family graveside service will take place at the Allison family Cemetery.
