Charles Rudell Frye "Jr." Abingdon, VA Charles Rudell Frye "Jr", age 53, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Frye and Edna Barrett. Charles was a very kind and giving person who was liked by everyone who knew him. Some of his hobbies were fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Diane Frye of Abingdon, VA; one brother, Allen Frye and wife Tammy of Saltville, VA; two sisters, Judy Frye of Bristol, VA, and Patricia "Mona" Cook and husband Jimmy of Meadowview, VA; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Cuddy officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4 until 5 p.m. prior to the service. Everyone is asked to please follow the Covid-19 guidelines.
