Charles "Sandy" Lysander Price Jr., passed away at his home on April 13th, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Saltville. He was 57 years old. He was a Maintenance Technician at Wolf Hills Fabricators in Abingdon Va. Sandy enjoyed the outdoors and hunting with his beloved dog "Bucky". He was a loving husband and father. He was well-liked and respected at work and was always willing to help anyone that needed it. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lysander Price, Sr., and brother, Craig C. Price

He is survived by his wife Kim; their son, Sean Winton Price and daughter Jennifer Marie Surber of Fountain Inn, S.C.; mother, Phyllis Price-Mutter and her husband Graham Mutter; sister, Sandra Louthian; nephew, Kory Burgess and niece Morgan Henley and their families; and two grandchildren, Kyleigh Surber and Kayden Surber.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
