Saltville, VA Charlie George Sherman Snead "Little Charlie", age 33, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 30, 2021. To know Charlie was to love Charlie. He was loved by so many in his hometown of Saltville. Charlie was so special to everyone he knew. He was a member of the Saltville Baptist Church for many years. Charlie loved the Tennessee Volunteers, he wore his hat everywhere he went. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nancy Snead; and his grandfather, Charlie Snead. He is survived by his sister, Kayla Snead; his grandmother, Marie Snead; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; one very special cousin who he considered a sister, Kristi Orr. Charlie loved all of his family dearly. He knew all of their birthdays and ages by heart. Charlie was very proud of his long hair, and it tickled him to death when anyone told him he looked like his daddy. We will love and miss you forever Charlie. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Saltville Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Schreifer officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 6 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards funeral expenses.
