Charlita Louise Taylor went home to be with her Lord on April 24, 2025, passing peacefully at her home. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was a reflection of her deep faith and kind heart. A devoted Christian, Charlita was a longtime member of Freedom Baptist Church. She lived her life with unwavering faith and a giving spirit. She found great joy in making quilts, lovingly gifting them to those she cared about. She loved all of her family dearly, especially her grandchildren they were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Myrtle Baldridge; two brothers, Gary and Terry Baldridge; and grandson, Justin Moore.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children; Patty Taylor, and Jimmy Taylor, Jr. and wife LeAnn; her sister, Terressa Dickerson and husband Tom; three brothers, Tom Baldridge and wife Marie, Donnie Baldridge and wife Ellen, and Gerald Baldridge and wife Tabby; thirteen grandchildren, Savannah Riley, Logan Moore, Will Taylor (Nichole), Danielle Taylor, Ansley Taylor, Jacob Heath, Alley DeBord (Greg), Kariana Moore, Cody Moore, Isaiah Kerr, Abby Kerr, Kaylee Taylor, and Emmy Taylor; four great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews; and her special fur-baby, Princess.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Loupe officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 1 p.m. prior to the service. The burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery. Bryson Taylor, Will Taylor, Nicky Rahley, Isaiah Kerr, Thomas Dickerson, Andy Brown, and Garrett Fullen will all be serving as pallbearers.
