Chilhowie, Va. Cheryl Ann French-Kreiser, age 64, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. She was born in Bluefield, W. Va. and was a graduate of Gary High School. She had a 30-year nursing career. Cheryl was a talented musician and writer of poetry. She was preceded in death by her parents, George M. and Irene French; husband, Rodney Kreiser of North Carolina. Cheryl is survived by two sister's, Betty Clay of New Baltimore, Va., Glenna Widener and husband Coy of Glade Spring, Va.; one brother Melvin (Buddy) French and wife Phylenia of Christiansburg, Va.; several nieces and nephews and friends from Beckly, W. Va. and Rowan County, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Saltville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joe Wilson officiating.
