Our dear mother, Christine Stanfield, sadly passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, at the age of 90.  She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She was a cherished member of Valley View Assembly of God in Poor Valley. Leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She was predeceased by her husband Harold D.D. Stanfield.
She had three children Harold, Sandra, and Shirley Piette (Lenny).
Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Garrett officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery Mausoleum in Glade Spring, Va.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Lenny Paul Piette, Blake Piette, Carl Goff, Joey House, Larry Ledbetter, and Lawrence Eastridge.
