Saltville, VA Clayton Scott Weir, age 82, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Johnson City Medial Center in Johnson City, TN. From Covid19 complications. Scott was a loving husband and a devout Christian. He served honorably in the United States Navy for 30 years, and 20 years at the Virginia Employment Agency for Veterans Protection. Scott is survived by his wife, Mary Sheppard Jones Weir; four children and two step-children; and a loving sister, Beverly. There will be no funeral or visitation at his request. Military Honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring with Pastor Leonard Smith officiating. Everyone is asked to follow the COVID19 guidelines.
