Clint Allen Ford, age 84, of Smyth County, Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 22, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1940, to the late Luther and Kathrine Virginia Ford in Smyth County, Clint was a selfless and hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for and taking care of his family. Clint worked tirelessly for 44 years in the construction industry while also farming tobacco. He found joy in keeping a garden, a passion he later shared with his grandchildren, teaching them the value of hard work. Clint had a special knack for making apple butter and turned his tradition into an opportunity to pass down cherished life lessons to his grandchildren. Whether attending their sporting events, cheering them on at pageants, or simply lending a supportive hand, Clint was their steadfast source of encouragement and wisdom. A devoted Christian, Clint was a faithful member of Broadford First Church of God, where he cherished his church family and gave back in countless ways. His generosity extended beyond the church, as he enjoyed volunteering at the Rich Valley Fair, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Clint's legacy is one of love, faith, and generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Magnolia Avalos; and sister, Neura Magnolia Havens.
