Cody Wayne Moore, age 27, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Bristol Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. He had a way of making people smile with his infectious laughter and easy-going nature. Cody was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mary and Clarence Tolbert, Maxine and Edward Talbert; and grandfather, Wayne Talbert.

He is survived by his fiancé Chelsey Sykes; three daughters, Marley Moore, Arabella Strouth, and Adalynn Strouth; his mother, Wendy Moore; father, Richard Gardner; grandmother, Vicki Talbert; sister, Aleah Call; special uncle, Shane Tolbert; and many close friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville with Bird Frye officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
