Connie Sue Davidson, age 76, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Valley Nursing Home in Chilhowie Virginia.

She was known for her spunky spirit, easy-going nature, and a heart full of generosity. Connie Sue had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. Her selflessness shone through, especially in her love for ensuring that no one went hungry. Whether it was a simple meal or a gathering of loved ones, Connie Sue made sure everyone was fed, expressing the warmth of her giving nature.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jessie Davidson; her parents, Bill and Frances Davidson; her sisters, Shelby Wright, Melody Price, Penny Price, and Dreama Minton; and her brother, Mack Davidson.

Left to cherish her memory is her three daughters, Robin Hayden, Terri Davidson, and Lori Cardwell and husband Jim; her son, Jimmy Davidson and wife Charissa; grandchildren, Tasha Collins, Richie Hicks, Brooke Feeny, Amber Jackson, Chelsey Cardwell, Santana Cardwell, Dusty Jackson, and Alli Cooper; sixteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois Hess, Revonda Surber, and Cathy Miller; two brothers, Billy Davidson and wife Sandy, Mike Davidson and wife Tina; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Harris officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service.

The family will also be receiving friends at their home at 304 Davidson Street, in Saltville.
