Curtis Eugene "Tuffy" Blevins, age 69, of Chilhowie, Va. passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, John Windom and Barbara McNew Blevins. He was a graduate of Rich Valley High School where he was a member of the football team. Curtis loved the outdoors where he enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and was an avid knife collector. He worked as an electrician for West Virginia Electric and Texas Gulf.

Curtis is survived by three daughters, Hope Rouse (Donny), Kelly Surber, Rachel Blevins and fiancé J. D. Pauley; one sister, Brenda Osborne; grandchildren, Austin Doss, Skylar Surber, and Logan Surber; one great grandson, Greyson Doss.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Bob Surber officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, Va. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donny Rouse, J. D. Pauley, Ryan Chapman, Austin Doss, Johnny Dunford, and Steve Taylor.
