Daryl Clinton Jackson, age 67, passed away at his home in Saltville, Va. on Thursday, July 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Clinton and Dorothy Kimberlin Jackson.

Daryl was a graduate of Rich Valley High School. He loved to hunt, fish, farm, and tend to his garden. Daryl attended Tannersville Church of Christ. As his neighbor described him, he was an "awesome man". He had a big heart, loved his family and was always willing to help anyone.

He is survived by his sisters, Peggy Sue Jackson, Betty Jane Jackson, both of Saltville, Va. and Mary Louise Lamie and husband Danny Joe of Tannersville, Va.; best friend, Billy Osborne and wife Debbie; cousin that was more like a brother, Cecil Davenport and wife Katie; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Osborne Family Cemetery in Tannersville, Va. with Minister Ronnie Mullins officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Osborne, Phillip Holmes, Jerry Woodward, and Joe Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be Preston Price and Israel Price. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
