Saltville, Va. David Kent Heldreth, age 59, passed away at his home on Monday, March 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Kent, and Bradley Rose Heldreth; one brother, Michael "Mike" Heldreth. He is survived by his wife, Robin Walls Heldreth; stepson, Walter "B. J." Nelson and wife Leutisha of Wytheville, Va.; three grandchildren, J. J. Nelson "his partner in crime", Liberty Nelson, and Justice Nelson; and sister-in-law, Sheila Heldreth. David was an avid Virginia Tech fan and enjoyed his Saturday get-togethers for the VT games. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends may visit their home at any time.
