David Fred Musick, Sr., age 72 passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025.  He was born on September 3, 1953 in Welch, W. Va. to the late Fred and Mamie O'Quinn Musick.  David was a custodian for the Smyth County School Systems having 20 plus years of service.  Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Cassel Musick; and son, Timothy Musick.

David's #1 passion was cars.  He loved to work on cars.  He was also a fixer-upper…anything that was broken, he loved fixing.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family which he loved very much.

Those left behind to cherish his loving memory are his son, David Musick, Jr. and fiancée Tonja Allen; grandchildren, Jacob Seth Musick, and Jordan Brianna Musick; one brother, Danny Musick and wife Dorothy of Saltville; sisters, Shirley Blevins and husband Andy of Marion, Carol Prater and husband Duke of Brumley Gap, Diane Stallard and husband Doug of Glade Spring, and Juanita Musick of Brooksville, Fl.; brother-in-law, Joe Blackwell and wife Brenda of Abingdon; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for David Fred Musick, Sr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Avery Sheets officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
