Deanna Sue "Judy" Miller died November 23, 2024, in Carmel, IN.  Born February 8, 1941, in Tannersville, VA, she was the daughter of Lee and Leola Necessary.  She was a graduate of Rich Valley High School and was chosen as Miss Rich Valley High School her senior year.  After a few years away, she returned to the area and lived most of her life in Saltville, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Reed Miller; sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Little, Lynda Watson and Mary Lynne Murray; brothers-in-law Ed Schupp, Bill Watson and Ed Murray; Rex Miller and Otis Cassell.

She is survived by her sister Janice Schupp; her brother Gary Necessary; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Judy was proud of her work ethic, first with the FBI directly after high school, then later with Saltville National Bank and Highlands Union Bank of Abingdon.

A graveside service will be held at the Necessary Cemetery in Tannersville, VA, at a later date.
