Delouris Virginia Dinsmore Doane passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born on March 22, 1950 in Smyth County to her parents Roy and Effie Dinsmore. "Gran" loved gardening and tending to her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Sam, Frank, Dennis, Johnny, Robert, Junior, Curtis, Gene and Wayne; sisters, Mary, Gladys, Dot, June, Jean and Cheryl.

Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband of 28 years, Dallas Doane of Saltville, VA; daughters, Lisa Martin (Wade) of Saltville, VA, Michelle Smith (Jeff) of Abingdon, VA; sons, Walter "Jr" Beverly of Marion, VA, Michael Beverly (Rosie) of Chilhowie, VA; grandchildren, Jimmy Olinger (Matt), Klaus Martin of Saltville, VA, Kayla Owens of Atkins, VA, Jordan Stephenson of Abingdon, VA, Mike Beverly (Jennifer) of Galax, VA, M.J. Beverly (Alexis), and Dalton Beverly of Chilhowie, VA; Sisters, Terry Brown of Jacksonville, FL; and brother, Donny Dinsmore (Eric) of Jacksonville, FL; and her special "fur babies", Rocky, Sheba, Polly, Gracie, Little Bit, and Buttons.

The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to her sister-in-law and husband, Wanda and Dennis Waddell, and to the nursing staff at Caris Hospice.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Frye officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 prior to the service.
