Dennis Wade Davidson, age 68, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home in Bristol, Va. Dennis was a dedicated member of the Bible Way Church in Raven, Va. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dennis grew up in Glade Spring, Va. and attended Patrick Henry High School. He was a one-of-a kind father, brother, husband, and friend. He knew no stranger and always offered a helping hand to those in need. His legacy will outlive us all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Pearl Davidson; brother, David Davidson; and several half brothers and sisters.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Cathy Brown Davidson; sons, Jonathan Davidson and Jeffrey Davidson; stepson, Robbie Joyce; stepdaughters, Holly Lynn Tuggle, Rebekah Catherine Newsome, Katy Elizabeth Joyce; brothers, Erichus "Eric" Davidson and Roger Davidson; sister Freda Butler; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Short, Rev. Austin Burke and Brother Seth Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Union Church Cemetery in Saltville, Va. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
