Dolly Jane Lamie, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be cherished. Dolly was a devoted wife, married for 54 years to Mac Lamie, together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories and faced the ups and downs of life hand in hand. Throughout her life, Dolly demonstrated incredible courage and strength during her 23-year battle against cancer. Despite the challenges, she continued to embrace life with grace and a positive outlook. She always remained a faithful Christian, reading her Bible daily. She leaned on her faith to guide her throughout all of her life struggles. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, photography, and keeping in touch with all of her Facebook friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Libby Sword; and her brother, Ronald Sword and wife Connie.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Mac Lamie; her three sisters, Peggy Borders and husband Dee, Patsy Davidson, and Judy Bonjarous and husband Rick; brother-in-law, Dennis Davidson; and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Dolly's wishes there will be no services.
