Saltville, VA. Donald Reece Frye, age 69, passed away at his home Saturday November 28, 2020. He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church where he also served as deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah "Ginger" Frye; parents, John R. Frye and Ellen Kate Collins; brother, John Frye, Jr.; sister, Elizabeth "Sissy" Thomas; and granddaughter, Megan Goff. Donnie is survived by his daughters, Tina Price, and Kimberly (Jamie) Mitchell; son Chris (Jeannie) Frye; brothers, Buzzy, Bobby, Jerry, and Danny Frye; sisters, Susie Cannon, Kathy Dowell (Junior), Diane Heath, Francis Davidson, Mary Looney (Scott), and Leaslie Delp (Jon); grandchildren Gary Price, Joshua Price, Jarad Price, Alisha Phibbs, Justin Frye, Matthew Goff, Andrew Goff, Jordan Frye, and Jessica Waddle; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Joyce Chapman. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville with Pastor James Gentry officiating.
