Doris Ann Holmes, age 89, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband, Floyd Holmes, her parents, Grat and Mary Kate Cahill; three brothers, four sisters, and a grandson.

Doris is survived by four children, James Holmes, Gary Holmes and wife Grace, David Holmes, and Michelle Hamm; brother, Allen Cahill; sister, Nell Heath; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Kevin Holmes officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
