Saltville, Va. Dorothy Mae DeBord, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Valley Nursing Home in Chilhowie, Va. She was a wonderful Christian woman and had attended Main Street Christian Church, McCready United Methodist Church and Northwood Fellowship Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Susie Coe Sessor; her husband, Everett "Stump" DeBord; brothers, Campbell, Joe, James, and Gordon "Pedro" Sessor; and sister, Megan McGhee. She is survived by her son, Bobby W. DeBord; brother, David Allen Sessor of Savannah, Georgia; special nephew, Charlie Sessor, who helped her with her yard work and many other chores, and several more nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Gwinn officiating.
