York, PA Dorothy C. Haydon, age 80, of West Manchester Township, York, died Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital. Born December 4, 1940 in Saltville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Haydon; mother, Alice (Pruitt) Wynegar; and stepfather, Lyhue Wynegar, Sr. She is survived by three brothers, Lloyd W. Haydon, Charles "Jimmy" Haydon, and Lyhue Wynegar, Jr. all of York; sister, Peggy Knaggs of Mechanicsville, Virginia; four nieces and seven nephews. A special thank you to her caregiver, Lisa Miller. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Frye officiating.
