Dorothy Ellen Price, age 90, gained her angel wings on Friday, September 29, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 23, 1933 in Saltville to the late Albert and Bert C. Chapman. Dorothy was a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. She was a dedicated Christian who faithfully attended Miracle Mountain Holiness Church. Her love for God was evident in every aspect of her life, as she lived out her beliefs with grace and compassion. The two most important things in her life was her love for God and her family.

Including her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Price; three sons, Roger, Cecil, and Harold Price; several sibling; and her granddaughter, Kim Price.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Bertha Ann Heninger and husband Daryel; five grandchildren, Lisa Miller, Roger and Ashley Price, and David and Michael Heningar; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great Grandson, Grant Norris; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA. The family will be receiving friends at Henderson Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 prior to the procession to the cemetery.
