Drema G. Simpson passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born on August 31, 1947, and will be remembered with love by her family and all those whose lives she touched.

Drema was a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished family member whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Though her passing leaves a profound sadness, her family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those who went before her. Her family will forever hold close the memories they shared, the love she gave, and the special place she held in their hearts. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and future generations. Drema's life was a blessing to those who knew her, and her memory will remain a treasured part of her family's story. She will be remembered always, loved endlessly, and missed more than words can express. Her family will forever hold close the memories they shared, the love she gave, and the special place she held in their hearts. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and future generations. Rest in peace, Drema. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Simpson; her son, Bart Jones; and her parents, Zella Grant and Garnett Grant. We find comfort in knowing that Drema is once again reunited with her loved ones, sharing in the peace and love of eternal life.

Drema leaves behind a loving family who will continue to cherish her memory, including her stepchildren, Jason Simpson and Lisa Simpson; her daughter-in-law, Krista Jones; her grandchildren, Dylan Jones, Madelyn Jones, Delaney Clemens, Alex Clemens, Ashe Simpson, Jackson Simpson, Taylor Babb, and Haley Collins.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
