Rich Valley, VA Edward Lee Harris, age 87, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 with a smile on his face. Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a strong and tough individual with a little stubbornness. He never met a stranger, and he loved all of his family and friends unconditionally. Edward had a heart of gold and could always put a smile on anyone's face. He had a very long career at Titan wheel. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sarah K. Farmer; seven siblings; and his grandson, Curtis Harris. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rebecca Harris; his four children, Carl Jason Harris and wife Lesia, Randy Nelson Harris, Rebecca Lee Bowman and husband Jerry, and Sarah Mae Call; one sister, Elizabeth Horn; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor James Walls officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. The burial will follow at the Harris Family Cemetery in Rich Valley, VA. Adam Harris, Chase Cardwell, Josh Hale, J.R.
