Eula Kestner Caudill, age 83, of Saltville, Virginia passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Abingdon Health and Rehab. Eula was born on December 17, 1939 to the late Charlie and Nell Hayden Kestner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie (C.D.) Caudill; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Mabel Caudill; her step-mother, Zella Thompson; her infant granddaughter, Jenny Danielle Caudill; brothers and their spouses, Curtis (Rachel) Kestner, Romie (Lois) Kestner, and R.J. (Shirley) Kestner; her sister and spouse, Louise (James) Robbins; an infant sister, Eleanor Van Kestner; brother-in-law, Thurman (Mary) Caudill, and sisters-in-law, Shawnee Kestner and Robin Kestner. Eula was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and a member of Buckeye Hollow Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Eula is survived by her children, Jerry (Anita) Caudill, and Sandra (Joe) Wilson; grandchildren, Ashley (Travis) Gilley, Josie Wilson, Cassie Wilson, Ethan (Hannah) Caudill, and Pennie Wilson; great grandchildren, Warren, Wylee, Wilkes, and Weller Gilley, and Graham and Thatcher Caudill; brothers, Laney Kestner and Wade (Carol) Kestner; and many nieces and nephews.

Eula was dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will be sorely missed by all.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. with Rev. Rodney Olinger officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Wilson, Ethan Caudill, Travis Gilley, Butch Kestner, Stanley Kestner, and Caleb Kestner.

Her family would like to thank the nursing staff at Abingdon Health and Rehab, especially the kindness from Jennifer, Angel, Sara, Adora, and Brenda.
