Eva Mae Davenport

Eva Mae Davenport passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1956 to John F. and Mary Pauly Thompson which preceded her in death. Including her parents, she is also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Preston, Ray, Clarence, Dale, Jerry, and Archie; and sister, Frances Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Whrenza Davenport; sons, Allen Davenport (Wendy), Elija Davenport and partner April Dowell; daughter, Sara Mitchell (Joel); brother, Paul Thompson; sisters, Beulah Coe (Everett), Opal Spears (Emitt), and Connie Kerly (Steve); 6 grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Eva will be severely missed. She was a wonderful cook and prepared many Saturday night meals for family get togethers.

A private graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Montgomery Cemetery with Elder Allen Davenport officiating.
