Saltville, Va. Eva Mae Frye, beloved mother and grandmother, age 78, of Saltville, Virginia, passed away November 1, 2021 in Richlands, N.C. Mae was born to and preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Jennings and Nancy Wilson; her husband, Thomas Wesley Frye; son, John Wayne Frye; daughter, Sheri Ann Pollock; and sister, Dorothy Sneed. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jane Humphrey (Edward), of Richlands, N. C.; grandchildren, Megan Batchelor (Ryan), Thomas Pollock (Ashley Riggs), Charlie Todd Meadows, Christopher Humphrey (Amanda), David Pollock (Charissa); great-grandchildren, Jackie, Wyatt, Katie, Raelyn, Aubrey, Logan, and Brooklynn; siblings, Bobby Wilson, Joyce Taylor, and Ellen Lord; several nieces and nephews. Mae will be remembered as a woman who loved her family, and was an amazing caretaker to her son for 38 years. The family would like to express a special thank you to Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Cavenaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery.
