Florence Hogston Davidson Chilhowie, VA Florence Hogston Davidson, age 90, passed away on December 5, 2021, at Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a member of Chilhowie Christian Church. Florence enjoyed cooking and spending time with all of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Thelma Hogston; her husband, Charles Davidson; one brother, Bobby Hogston; and sister, Betty Osborne. She is survived by her son, Mike Davidson and wife Sue of Marion, VA; daughter, Sherri Ginn and husband Jack of Allendale, MI; four sisters, Peggy Frye, Shirley Coe, Anna Lee Ford, and Judy Cameron and husband Don; one brother, Charles Hogston and wife Melody; five grandchildren, Katherine Ginn, Adam Ginn, Carter Ginn, Cole Davidson, and Alex Street and wife Jill; one great-grandchild, River Street; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Mount Rose Cemetery. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
