Frances Juanita Puckett Parsons Marion, NC Frances Juanita Puckett Parsons, age 77, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Wytheville Community Hospital. She was a very kind person, with a witty personality. Frances was a devoted Christian. In her free time, she enjoyed crochet, working crossword puzzles, and her find a word puzzle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Parsons; her mother, Laura Belle Puckett; and her stepfather, Paskchal S. Puckett. She is survived by her son, Elmer V. "JR" O'Quinn, Jr.; one daughter, Pamela Barnes; two sisters, Mary P. Cardwell, and Sharon P. Ferguson; one brother, Paskchal L. "Bud" Puckett; three grandchildren, Chad A. Barnes, Sean A. Barnes, and Marcus D. Barnes; one great-grandchild; special friend, Becky Shirley; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Glade Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
