Frankie Louise Hatmaker Shelton Bland, VA Frankie Louise Hatmaker Shelton, age 74, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, great sister, and a role model for all of her family. Frankie was full of life. She loved her Lord, and spending time with her family. Frankie enjoyed the ocean and being at the beach. She worked a long career for over 30 years as a property manager. Frankie had a passion for animals being a cattle farmer, and a dog lover. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paris H. and Ilda Hatmaker; her husband of 54 years, Elbert Shelton; two brothers, Donald and Robert Hatmaker; and brother-in-law, Tony Phillips. She is survived by her four sons, Elbert Charles Shelton and wife Jackie, Jeff Shelton and wife Teresa, Michael Shelton and wife Samantha, and Mark Shelton and wife Michelle; one sister, Kathleen Hatmaker Phillips; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Duff officiating. The burial will follow at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
