Saltville, Va.

Franklin Lee Wyatt, age 65, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 23, 2026.  He was born on July 3, 1960 in Saltville, VA to the late Wiley (Gene) and Patricia Wyatt.

Frank was a lifelong resident of North Holston and faithful member of Cardwell Town Freewill Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School.  He was also a devout fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Washington Redskins.  He loved his church, sports, and gardening.  On any given Saturday in the fall, you could find Frank in front of the TV yelling "Roll Tide"!

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 37 years, Cathy Lester Wyatt, and his son, Tregg Wyatt, who was his whole world.  Additional survivors include sister-in-law Vickie Lester; brothers in law Tiger (Diane) Lester and John Lester; nieces Mandi Lester and Emma (Tyler) Morris; nephew Luke (Brooklyn) Morris; great niece Willow Morris; great nephew Krew Morris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Methodist Church Cemetery in Rich Valley.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Those serving as pallbearers will be John Lester, Tiger Lester, Twinkle Mills, Luke Morris, Aaron Lowery, Dane Keene, Tyler Waddle, and Berkley Stewart.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Brown, Dave Lewis, Jim Hutton, Jeff Brown, Steve Brown, and Brody Waddle.
