Garland "Jake" Junior Tolbert, passed away on September 7, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Clyde and Polly Tolbert. He served inthe United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dale Tolbert and Jeff Tolbert; sister, BettyThomas; infant grandson, Dalton Tolbert; and his beloved grandson,

Tanner Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, JoAnn Tolbert; sons, WayneTolbert and Rodney Tolbert (Jodi); daughters, Monica Jones (Darren),and Tammy Dinsmore (Allen); brothers, Ed Tolbert (Eula), and WillieTolbert; sister, Hazel Casey; beloved grandchildren, Landon Clevenger,Maddie Tolbert, Chelsi Jones, Jadon Dinsmore, Kayla Dinsmore, Courtney Roark, and Patricia Waddell; great grandchildren, Arianna,Asher, and Aurora Jackson, Bently Michael and Gracelynn Waddell;and a very special sister-in-law, Barbara Call.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 9,2022 at D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger O'Quinn andRev. Jimmy Taylor officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5until 7 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday at 11 a.m. with military rites rendered by the United States Army and also V.F.W. #4667.
